How does color impact your life, or conversely, how does the lack of color impact your world?
So many of us are wearing basic black for one reason or another - to minimize curves, to achieve a classy, classic, or dressy look, to simplify wardrobe decisions or all of the above.
Wearing black is popular, not only to high stylers, but also serves as a default to us bodacious ladies seeking to achieve a trimmer effect.
How about your walls? Is there a difference in how you use color to jazz up your living space than how you decorate your bod? For many, the answer to that is yes, there is a distinct difference.
No matter what the answer to your questions above, if you *do* love color and want more of it on your walls and in your wardrobe, we have the answer to both..!
For every piece of wearable art we have designed here, there is a painting behind it. So far, the following paintings have found their own self expression in a silk scarf..
"Champagne Dreams"
"Firecracker Love"
"Midnight Ocean"
"Ocean Swell"
"Patchwork Sky"
"Summer Daze"
Let us know your fav image from Sheryl Brown Art that you would like to see in a scarf, and we'll make it happen..!

So with all of the above in consideration, it begs the question, do you have enough color in your life?
How does it feel to you to be missing more color in what you wear? Do you feel a lack of oomph? Do you feel too sober, dull or blah?

Hey Debbie, I just noticed my blog ate my reply to you..! Maybe because I clicked on two things close together..
I think your brilliance in using color in branding is awesome, and glad this post gave you something fresh ;)
Oh yeah, I’m all over that Sea Foam Mist..!
Oh, here is the errant reply, Debbie.. Too funny, it got out of queue, and I think I know why.. Oh well, I never mind repeating myself heheh..
One of the reasons I chose the house I now live in is because it has a burnt orange wall in the living room, and then coordinating stripes of the burnt orange, tan and cream over the door where the ceiling vaults.
Your scarfs are beautiful!!!
Thanks, Debbie..! I think I need to create a burnt orange scarf next..!
It would be awesome to have a home tour of everyone’s place, by the sound of it ;) I love your word description!
I would LOVE a burnt orange scarf. I love the rusts, golds and dark sage greens.
And the addition of sage green.. now that gets my juices going, Debbie..!
Colors and sunshine lift my spirits! True of me we choose neutral colors as they are easier to match. Black is my favorite color, or all-colors.. as white is absence of color. At least that was what I learned in High School. Upon googling I see there is a difference of opinion. Still my fav ;)
I love certain colors only, I lean more towards reds, blacks, white, blue and some brown. I don’t have a lot of orange, purple, yellow, or green in my wardrobe, or pink.
Red is a power color, blue means strength, brown tones I hear coincide with earthiness. White is my favorite go to color for tops in the summer especially with the summer heat here in Kansas the way it is. I like black because it slims the girls down a little and I stay away from anything that has horizontal stripes.
As far as my house is concerned I am dying to give my house a French country look. Lot’s of blue’s, whites and subtle yellows.
Recently my 12 y/o step son said “You can tell that you are a European immigrant from the way you dress”
Cute but true :-) I guess for me wearing black and white is just safe – it never clashes.
I think I’ll wear my one pink shirt more often this summer
I love the wisdom of 12 year olds, Frith..! Can’t wait to see you wearing your pink shirt ;) Be sure to ‘photo’ it for us when you do!
