How does color impact your life, or conversely, how does the lack of color impact your world?
So many of us are wearing basic black for one reason or another - to minimize curves, to achieve a classy, classic, or dressy look, to simplify wardrobe decisions or all of the above.
Wearing black is popular, not only to high stylers, but also serves as a default to us bodacious ladies seeking to achieve a trimmer effect.
How about your walls? Is there a difference in how you use color to jazz up your living space than how you decorate your bod? For many, the answer to that is yes, there is a distinct difference.
No matter what the answer to your questions above, if you *do* love color and want more of it on your walls and in your wardrobe, we have the answer to both..!
For every piece of wearable art we have designed here, there is a painting behind it. So far, the following paintings have found their own self expression in a silk scarf..
"Champagne Dreams"
"Firecracker Love"
"Midnight Ocean"
"Ocean Swell"
"Patchwork Sky"
"Summer Daze"
Let us know your fav image from Sheryl Brown Art that you would like to see in a scarf, and we'll make it happen..!

So with all of the above in consideration, it begs the question, do you have enough color in your life?
How does it feel to you to be missing more color in what you wear? Do you feel a lack of oomph? Do you feel too sober, dull or blah?
Add your comments below, and let's talk..!
Your expression of art and color in your works is delightful, Susan ;) So true that life would come across as bland without color.. Hard even to imagine it..!
Thank you so much for that, Carolina..!
Not everyone likes their colors as strong, but many do. Even if they wouldn’t wear it or put it on their walls, folks still like to look at it.
Ah, the story behind my art.. There’s even more of that lol!
Ooh Molly Jo.. I would love to sit in your home and soak it all in..!
So one might need two main branches of their home.. One with the neutral walls to set off the myriads of paintings on the wall (my dream is to live in an art gallery lol!). And another to be completely decorator-ed out like yours..!
Gagan, what a choice reply, I love it..! Our personalities and our experiences do come out in the art work we create.
I love color. Red is the color of good luck for Chinese and being that my hubby and kids are Chinese I do have a particular affinity. At my wedding (20 years ago) it was so obvious who were the guests of my husband to be as you looked out on a sea of red to one side of the aisle and then a mixture of colors on the other side. It is a fond memory.
My wardrobe and my home are both filled with earth tones mixed with splashes of color. I find myself drawn to your artwork that is the same.
I do love to change things up and the big joke in my neighborhood is that my house has lost square footage due to all my paint changes :)
Naturally yours,
Elise Cohen Ho
Happy 20th anniversary year, Elise ;)
Love, love, love reading your wedding story of red..
I would love to see photos of your interior paint works! Hopefully the square footage loss has not dampened your enthusiasm, hehehh..
You are giving me some clues and inspirations for next paintings..!
Oh, and me trying to paint earthtones or neutrals has been a bit of a neighborhood joke in my own head.. Somehow those splashes of color get quite splashy..!
“Desert Snow” is probably my most neutral to date..
PS Molly Jo, I’ll have to ask you how you did your mojo media page.. Brilliant..!
Honestly, I love color! Actually.. If i had my way.. everything I own would be purple (or some shade of purple).. But I live in a world were many many people don’t like purple..
The weird thing is I mostly wear purple for special occasions.. but I will try to do accessories in that color. I have been gently asked by my daughter and friends to other colors.. and I try, but my eye is always drawn to purple.
Side note: I have notice that i will buy a product if the packaging has purple regardless of the usefulness or need or said product.. just the fact that it is purple will get me (I am working on this sickness…)..
Purple Passion.. could be a new painting/scarf..
What a great post! As a brand marketer, I tend to think about colors for logos and brand messaging, so it’s nice to take a step back and think about how colors make us feel as people with clothing and art. That said, “sea foam mist” sure sounds better than light green, right?
