How does color impact your life, or conversely, how does the lack of color impact your world?
So many of us are wearing basic black for one reason or another - to minimize curves, to achieve a classy, classic, or dressy look, to simplify wardrobe decisions or all of the above.
Wearing black is popular, not only to high stylers, but also serves as a default to us bodacious ladies seeking to achieve a trimmer effect.
How about your walls? Is there a difference in how you use color to jazz up your living space than how you decorate your bod? For many, the answer to that is yes, there is a distinct difference.
No matter what the answer to your questions above, if you *do* love color and want more of it on your walls and in your wardrobe, we have the answer to both..!
For every piece of wearable art we have designed here, there is a painting behind it. So far, the following paintings have found their own self expression in a silk scarf..

I am glad that you enjoyed the story :) It is a great memory.
The square footage loss has not dampened my enthusiasm :) I will take some pics for you. The funniest thing is that my kitchen walls are copper and my hubby was always complaining that he did not like it. Eventually he mentioned something about the green color and we realized he is color blind. he chose so many of the colors in my house too…

Loved this article & just today scheduled some Facebook posts about color tips. For years brown was my black. My former married name was Tanner & my hair is brown & I felt it all fit. When I shed that life (kept the hair) & felt freer, I noticed I added color to my world.
I mostly favor shades of purple (when not on the outside its hidden) & recently have fallen in love with the range of hues of turquoise, sea foam, aqua, etc & when paired together- oh my. Recently purchased water glasses in both purple & aqua & keep opening my cabinet to take a peak.
My home has walls of muted purple, eggplant, etc with lots of pottery & art in all colors. I’ve always said I need to treat my eyes to color.
Oh yah, I’m all over Sea Foam Mist.. lol! And in fact, I get quite a kick over naming colors ;)

Now on packaging, I can relate.. Only it’s with more than one color.. (shh, don’t tell..) Somebody stop me..! We could start up a support group.. hmmm

Funny thing about color blindness.. The person with it doesn’t necessarily feel the loss we might expect. And definitely have opinions and preferences..!

I do the black pants thing too, almost invariably, and in winter the black 3/4 sleeve sweater.. Then I can wear any scarf and it works..

Love Love purple and turquoise together, even though people think my fav color is blue.. I would be tempted to keep your new water glasses out in the open!
