The colors used in this painting include shades of raspberry red, magenta and electric fuchsia with streaks of white.

Using the same tubes of paint as "Raspberry Slope," this painting has an entirely different concentration of color. Much less white is used, and more of the mid range of color prevails.

In addition, the lines in "Rose Rain" are entirely vertical, so it has a definitely different feel. (Or horizontal, if you prefer.)

This is almost the ideal design for fabric design since each end blends so well one into the other.

Vivid is the middle name of this work, the electric fuchsia almost glowing from within.
